Macaron Towers

Macaron towers are the ultimate elegant touch to any event!

Want to know what’s involved in a setting up a tower for your event?

Your special event deserves to be the very best that it can be, and Do The Macarona will elevate your event to the next level. Macaron towers are as individual as your event is. When you choose your colors, flavors, flowers, and special effects, no two towers will ever be alike.

Here are some of the questions that we get about towers:

  • Q: How many macarons fit on a tower?

A: A full tower holds about 160 macarons. Macarons are $2 each, making a full tower $320.

  • Q: Do I have to order a full tower?

A: No. The tower layers pull apart, making it possible to shorten the tower. If you take the most bottom layer off, 130 macarons will fill the tower. Take the next one off, around 105 macarons will fill the tower. Delivery and set up is included with 105 macarons or more.

  • Q: How do I reserve a tower for my date?

A: A deposit of half of the cost and a completed Tower Agreement Form will reserve your date. The other half will be billed about a month before your event.

  • Q: Where do I get the flowers for the tower?

A: Macaron towers and flowers were meant to go together! I have several sets of flowers that you are welcome to choose from for a fee of $10. If you would like your florist to put flowers together that match your event, just pass the name and phone number on to me, and I will touch base with them. The florist may bill you, or I may bill you for the fresh flowers. I can even put together silk flowers for you for the cost of the flowers (usually around $50), which is added to the second half of the tower costs. You can also do a tower without flowers if you wish.

  • Q: How many flavors or colors can I choose?

A: The answer to color depends upon the theme of your event. Typically, we suggest three colors and three flavors. One chocolate, one cream, and one fruit is a great variety for your guests.

  • Q: How do I return the tower and when?

A: We will make arrangements beforehand as to who will be responsible for returning the tower and when. If it is a wedding, a family member usually returns it (if the bride and groom are honeymooning :) ). The tower should be returned in 4 or 5 days just in case some of the elements are needed for an upcoming tower. (If the table that the macaron tower is on is skirted, there will be something underneath that table to pack the tower up for return. If the table is not skirted, I will leave something nearby to pack everything in.)

  • Q: What are some of the other options with towers?

A: Towers can sit directly on the table or on an acrylic riser. The riser gives the towers about another 8 inches of height and makes it really stand out in your tablescape. You can use flowers around the riser, tulle (a tutu), fairy lights, and other table decor.

  • Q: What do I do with the macarons that are left at the end of the event?

A: These macarons are yours. Just put them in an airtight container, and pop them into the fridge for a couple of days or in the freezer for up to a couple of months.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Putting a tower together for an event is a really fun process that I hope we get to do together soon. :)
